Flood Advisory
Issued: 6:41 PM CST Jan. 22, 2019 – National Weather Service

The flood advisory continues for
the Tennessee River at Clifton
* until further notice.
* Flood stage is 370.0 feet.
* The river will rise above 368.0 feet Wednesday and continue rising slowly
through the rest of the week.
* At 369.0 feet... in Decatur County, water inundates Scenic Lane in the Russ
farm area, cutting off all access to riverfront homes in the area.
* At 368.0 feet... in Perry County, water reaches the low lying portions of
access roads in the Peters Landing area.
* At 367.0 feet... in Wayne County, water inundates the boat launch areas and
portions of access roads in the Beech Lake campground on Beech Lake Road.
* At 366.0 feet... in Hardin County, water inundates low lying agricultural areas
and access roads in the Cobb farm area of Nance Bend, including senator Cobb
Road and colonel Hardin Road.






Wind Advisory
Issued: 2:47 PM CST Jan. 22, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Wind Advisory remains in effect until noon CST Wednesday...

* timing... until noon CST Wednesday

* winds... breezy south wind 15 to 25 mph with gusts around 40
mph this afternoon, with gusts increasing to a 40 to 50 mph
range tonight through noon on Wednesday.

* Impacts... gusty winds can cause tree and branch damage. Loose
outdoor objects may be blown around. High profile vehicles,
especially those traveling on east-west roadways, may
experience travel difficulties.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 40 mph or greater are
possible. Winds this strong may blow down a few trees or tree
limbs and cause isolated power outages. Driving may also become
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra
caution.
