Flood Warning
Issued: 3:57 AM EST Feb. 25, 2018 – National Weather Service

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Flood Warning for
the great Miami river at Miamisburg
* until Monday morning.
* At 3 am the stage was 15.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 16 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* The river will rise above flood stage by early this morning and
continue to rise to near 16.8 feet by this afternoon. The river will
fall below flood stage by after midnight tonight.
* At stages near 16 feet, lowland flooding occurs from south of
Miamisburg to Franklin, Carlisle, Trenton and New Miami. Water begins
to spill onto low-lying roadways, mainly along portions of
Dayton-Oxford Road.

* until 1045 am EST Sunday.

* At 438 am EST, minor flooding was reported across the region with
several roads closed due to high water.

* Minor flooding of low-lying and poorly drained streets, highways
and underpasses will continue to occur. In addition, farmland near
creeks, streams and drainage ditches will continue to experience
minor flooding.

Some locations that will experience minor flooding include...
Dayton, Kettering, Middletown, Beavercreek, Fairborn, Mason, Xenia,
Miamisburg, Lebanon, Springboro, Washington Court House, Wilmington,
Monroe, Loveland, Franklin, Bellbrook, Hillsboro, Moraine, Carlisle
and Greenfield.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
