... Critical fire weather conditions for west central Minnesota
this afternoon...

A cold front moving through the area midday and early afternoon
will be accompanied by gusty winds to 40 mph along with a very dry
airmass. Relative humidity values will lower into the 25 to 30
percent range and with the strong westerly winds any fires that
would start may quickly grow out of control. Avoid burning
outdoors today and avoid throwing any lit objects out the window.
