... A brief period of 35 to 45 mph wind gusts may result in a few
downed trees and isolated power outages between 2 and 8 PM this
evening...

A strong cold front will cross the region this afternoon and early
this evening. A band of scattered showers may accompany this cold
front and result in a brief period of 35 to 45 mph wind gusts.
Given that we still have fully leafed trees... the potential exists
for a few downed trees and isolated power outages. The main time
of concern is between 2 and 8 PM this evening.
