subject: change in major flood stage at El Dorado on the Walnut
         river, effective August 21, 2018 at 9 am CDT

after coordination with local, County, state, and federal officials,
it has been determined that the major flood stage for the Walnut
river near El Dorado edek1 will change from 25.6 ft to 25.0 ft.

Effective Tuesday, August 21, 2018, the National Weather Service in
Wichita will modify the major flood stage category level for edek1
to better reflect impacts of major flooding. The remaining flood
categories of minor and moderate flood stages as well as action
stage will not change.

All future river forecasts, statements, and warnings will reference
the major flood stage as 25.0 feet for edek1 on the effective date.
