* until 1000 PM EDT.

* At 932 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over
Jeffersonville, moving southeast at 55 mph.

Hazard... ping pong Ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... people and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Louisville, Jeffersonville, Jeffersontown, St. Matthews, Lyndon,
Middletown, Douglass Hills, Hurstbourne, Graymoor-Devondale and

* Flash Flood Warning for...
south central Clark County in south central Indiana...
southern Oldham County in central Kentucky...
Shelby County in central Kentucky...
northern Jefferson County in central Kentucky...

* until 1145 PM EDT.

* At 851 PM EDT, thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the
warned area were starting to cause water over roadways in parts of
Louisville and Shelbyville.

Additional rainfall amounts of one to 1.5 inches are possible in the
warned area.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
