The Flood Warning continues for
the Ohio River at Shawneetown
* until late Thursday night.
* At 8:30 PM Monday the stage was 37.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 33.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river is cresting overnight and will start to fall
on Tuesday. It will fall below flood stage late Thursday night.

... Patchy dense fog late this evening into the overnight hours...

Partly cloudy skies and light winds late this evening have led to
the formation of some patchy dense fog, mainly over The Purchase
area of Kentucky where several inches of rain has fallen in the
last 48 hours. Additional development will be possible over the
rest of west Kentucky, southwest Indiana and adjacent portions of
southern Illinois and southeast Missouri. Motorists late this
evening and into the overnight hours should slow down and be
prepared for rapid reductions of visibility. Low overcast skies
and a northerly breeze are expected to overspread the entire
region overnight, bringing an end to the dense fog.
