Flood Warning

The Flood Warning continues for
the Teton river near Driggs.
* At 12:30 PM Tuesday the stage was 4.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 4.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Impact... at 4.2 feet... lowland flooding occurs along the river in
the Teton river bottoms from Bates bridge sportsman's access
down-river to Idaho Highway 33 and further down-river to 1000
north. Some river access boat ramps will be under water. Water may
cover a portion of 600 south or north Cedron Road.

The flood advisory continues for
the Snake River near Heise
* until this afternoon.
* At 11 am Tuesday the stage was 7.9 feet.
* Bankfull stage is 7.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will remain steady with current releases from
The Palisades Reservoir. Inflows to the Reservoir should decrease by
later this week into the weekend with cooler temperatures from today
and tomorrow. This may prompt a decrease in releases from The
Palisades Reservoir.

* Impact... at 8.0 feet... flooding near the Warm Springs resort area is
possible.

At 235 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Shoshone Lake to near Last Chance. Movement was
east at 20 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Harriman State Park.
