... Rain and lower Elevation Mountain snow late Tuesday night and
Wednesday...

A weak storm system will move across the region Tuesday night and
Wednesday. Snow levels will be lower with this system starting out
around 4000 in the north to 5000 feet in the south. Snow levels
are expected to lower by at least another thousand feet and may
become locally lower as the storm passes. Expect improving
conditions Wednesday night behind the system.

Impacts:
motorists traveling into the mountains should be prepared for
winter weather conditions and carry chains.

Slick roads can be expected.

Rainfall totals: under a quarter inch for the valley local amounts
up to half inch foothills... highest totals north of US-50.

Snowfall total: 2 to 7 inches above 4000 feet... highest totals
above 5000 feet and north of US-50.

Winds: southwest wind gusts 50 mph or higher over the crest.
