... Significant weather advisory for southern Little River...
Hempstead... northern Miller... southeastern Sevier... north central
Lafayette... southeastern Howard... northern Nevada and east central
Bowie counties until 330 am CDT...

At 244 am CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Corinth to Ben Lomond to near Richmond.
Movement was east southeast at 45 mph.

Strong winds of 40 to 45 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Texarkana, hope, Ashdown, Nashville, Prescott, Lewisville, Mineral
Springs, Emmet, Wilton, Blevins, Perrytown, Garland, Tollette,
Fulton, Washington, Ogden, Ben Lomond, Bodcaw, Corinth and
Mandeville.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
