Flood Warning
Issued: 8:52 AM CST Feb. 20, 2019 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the L'Anguille river at Palestine
* until further notice.
* At 8 am Wednesday the stage was 25.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Maximum forecast stage of 27.0 feet on Thursday February 21.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* The river rose above flood stage Tuesday February 12 and will
continue rising to near 27.0 feet by Thursday February 21 then
begin falling.
* At 27.5 feet... water begins to flow over a few County roads and
bridges near the river.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River at Helena
* from Saturday February 23 until Tuesday March 05.
* At 08 PM Tuesday the stage was 42.7 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Maximum forecast stage of 45.5 feet on Saturday March 02.
* Flood stage is 44.0 feet.
* Forecast to rise above flood stage by Saturday February 23 and
continue to rise to near 45.5 feet by Saturday March 02.The river
will fall below flood stage by Tuesday March 05.
* At 46.0 feet... in Mississippi, houses at Robson Towhead are being
flooded. Settlement by Old River chutes is going under water. All
places on the northeast side of DeSoto Lake are under water.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River at Tunica Riverpark
* until Monday March 11.
* At 07 PM Tuesday the stage was 46.1 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Maximum forecast stage of 49.0 feet on Thursday February 28.
* Flood stage is 41.0 feet.
* The river rose above flood stage Tuesday February 12 and will
continue rising to near 49.0 feet by Thursday February 28. The
river will fall below flood stage Monday March 11.
* At 49.0 feet... water is beginning to go over loggerhead Lane going
into Bordeaux Camp. Drum Cove is flooding. Buffalo drive is mostly
covered. South ends of ricky and Brown roads are flooded. Street
out of nel-win Camp is flooded. Tammy and Lloyd roads are flooded.
Bee trail and Plum Road are going under water. The East Part of
sherry Lane is being covered. Peters Island is almost completely
covered.
