... Forecast flooding increased from moderate to major severity...
the Flood Warning continues for
the Little Red river at Judsonia.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 4:00 PM Sunday the stage was 34.7 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 36.0 feet by
early Monday morning.
* Impacts at 36.0 feet... water is backing up tributaries toward
Judsonia. River last at this level in April 1979, 36.2 ft. This is
the highest stage since completion of Greers Ferry dam.
* Impacts at 33.0 feet... County roads along the Little Red river
flood. Extensive flooding of The Lowlands along the river. Levees
protecting portions of The Bald knob National wildlife Refuge may be
overtopped.

* at 146 PM CDT, a number of roadways were reported to be underwater
in the warned area. Runoff continues from recent heavy fainfall,
and flooding will continue, or develop from the runoff.

The Flood Warning continues for
the White River at Georgetown.
* From this evening until further notice... or until the warning is
cancelled.
* At 11:00 am Sunday the stage was 20.2 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by this evening and continue to
rise to near 27.0 feet by Sunday evening.
* Impacts at 24.0 feet... State Highway 36 to Georgetown may be
flooding due to backwater up Little Red river, especially during
locally heavy rainfall or high White River stage. Levee on north
side of the Little Red river protecting The Bald knob National
wildlife Refuge, primarily cropland, may be overtopped.
* Impacts at 26.0 feet... backwater up Little Red river floods
bottomland near West Point and Georgetown. Numerous roads and bridges
flooded west of the river. Extensive area of cropland in white,
Woodruff, and prairie counties flooded. State Highway 36 is probably
flooded and impassable. Georgetown and Nimmo could be isolated by
floodwater. Residents should either leave or have provisions for a
prolonged stay.

The Flood Warning continues for
the White River at Augusta.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 11:00 am Sunday the stage was 32.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 36.0 feet by
Thursday evening.
* Impacts at 32.0 feet... thousands of acres of cropland and farm
roads are flooded in white and Woodruff counties. Water is isolating
homes and camps along the river in white and Woodruff counties.
* Impacts at 34.0 feet... water around or approaching homes and camps
along the river in white and Woodruff counties. Farm roads and County
roads on both sides of the river are flooded.
* Impacts at 35.0 feet... flood waters are rising towards lower lying
sections of Augusta, Bradford, and Russell. Homes and camps along
U.S. Highway 64 and along Taylor Bay are flooded or isolated. Farm
and County roads are flooded in white and Woodruff counties.
* Impacts at 36.0 feet... major flood level begins. Areas along Taylor
Bay flooded. Some homes flooded at this level.
